Dear Boys and Girls,
How many of you have copied any pictures( maple story, characters) and photographs from the internet?
How many of you have downloaded songs and games from the Internet?
Those of you who answered YES, did you ask for permission to do so?
Imagine that you have drawn a marvellous piece of drawing and your classmates took your drawing and submit to the teacher. How would you feel?
If you feel angry and upset, then how would the copyright owner feel when their works/ drawings are copied by other?
Do take note of the following whenever you would like to copy /download any pictures, photographs from the Internet.
- Check for the symbol, conditions of use or copyright statement of the website
- Follow any information or guidelines stated by the author of a work
- Seek permission from the copyright owner

Of course copying is not right. It's like in a test you copy a work of someone and say that he or she copied yours. Don't worry though, I now know that I need to ask permission for taking pictures from the internet. :D

I went to a message board called Tama Party, and a member complained that someone stole the graphics for her website. The owner of Tama Party made some beautiful drwaings of Tamagotchis, but she said not to use the drawings without her permission.
