Personal Reponse: Earthquake

Dear Boys and Girls,

I truly feel that we are indeed extremely fortunate to be able to live in Singapore, a place we can call our 'home', a place which is always safe and free from natural disasters. These 2 weeks, I have been following up the news on the 2 Asian tragedies, Wuhan China earthquake and Myamar cyclone. My heart goes out to the parents of the lost children and all the victims of these disasters. earthquake and other too frequent natural disasters. Sometimes, we take happiness for granted and blame everyone around us whenever things are not done the way we wanted. . . I should love and treasure the everyone around us ...

Now that the exams are over, I would like you to spend some time reflecting on the things you have done this term. It is also good if you can spend some time reading. As the earthquake in China is still fresh on everyone's mind, I would like you to learn a little more about it. Hence, for this week, you will read about earthquake in the link below:

4. Where have earthquakes occurred?
5. Why do these countries have earthquakes?
6. Do you think there will be an earthquake in Singapore? Why?
Do explore the link given. I hope you have learned more about earthquakes.
